The player declares "Rummy" to end the round after all of their cards have been formed into sets and runs. Runs are sequences of three or more rummy 777successive cards of the same suit, whereas sets are made up of three or four cards of the same rank. Combinations of sets and runs can be placed on the table by players to create "melds.". At the conclusion of the round, a player's hand's unmelded cards are worth points against them.
