A run is made up of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, whereas a set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank but diffesatta..rent suits. A set number of cards, typically seven, are dealt to each player at the start of the game, & the remaining cards are arranged face down to create a draw pile. Players can place cards they no longer need in the discard pile, which is one of Dash Rummy's distinctive features.
