There are two to six players that can play rummy yas, & the standard deck of 52 cards is used for most games. The goal is to use card drawing and discarding to create legitimate sets and runs. A runrummy apna is made up of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, whereas a set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. After drawing a card from the discard pile or the stockpile, each player discards one card from their hand. Depending on the established rules, each player is dealt a certain number of cards at the beginning of the game, typically seven or ten.
