A set number of cards—usually seven or ten, depending on the variant being played—are dealt to players at the beginning of each game. Players must successfully blend their cards to form valid sets or rdear play gold winuns, which is the same goal as in traditional rummy. While a run is made up of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, a set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. The turn-based gameplay of Rummy Modern 777 is one of its primary characteristics. At the end of their turn, each player discards one card after drawing cards from the deck or the discard pile.
