Players try to form melds by assembling cards of the same rank or consecutive cards of the same suit after taking turns dall list rummyrawing cards from the draw pile or the discard pile. A player can "go out" by discarding their final card after successfully forming their melds. They must first make sure that each of their cards is a part of a legitimate run or set, though.
