For example, adding a 3 or 7 torummy winner your hand can quickly improve it if you have 4, 5, & 6 of diamonds. Players should also consider the possible melds of their opponents when creating their own sequences. It could be prudent to hold off on discarding cards if you see that an opponent is amassing a certain rank or suit unless you are certain they won't gain anything from them.
