The discard pile is started by turning the top card in the draw pile face up. Each player takes a turn drawing cards from the discard or draw pile & then discarding one card from 567 slots pokertheir hand. The player who can form all of their cards into sets and runs wins the game by declaring "Rummy" and continuing. Playing rummy calls for memory, skill, & strategy. In order to form sets & runs ahead of their opponents, players must carefully manage their hand, keeping track of the cards that have been discarded & those that are still in play.
