Depending on the variation, each player starts the game with a certain number of cards. With the top card face up, the discard pile is started, & thbonus appe remaining cards form a face-down draw pile. Each player takes turns drawing cards from the draw or discard pile, after which they each throw away one card from their hand. The player who can form all of their cards into sets and sequences wins the game by declaring "Rummy" & declaring victory.
