Each player is dealt a hand of cards at the start of the game, and the remaining cards are arranged in the draw pile by being placed face down on the table. Next, the disfun slotscard pile is started with the top card in the draw pile turned face up. The top card from the discard pile or a card drawn from the draw pile can be taken by any player during their turn. Players have to choose between discarding a card into the discard pile or laying down sets and runs from their hand onto the table after drawing a card.
