A typical 52-card deck is used to play the well-liked card game rummy. The aim of the game, which usually involves two to six players, is to arrange the cards in your hand into sets (three or foslots for real moneyur cards of the same rank) and runs (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit). The remaining cards form a face-down draw pile once each player is dealt a hand at the start of the game. To begin the discard pile, the top card from the draw pile is turned face up. Each player takes a turn drawing cards from the discard or draw pile and then discarding one card from their hand.
