In the eighteenth century, Robert Clive—also referred to as Clive of India—was a well-known British military officer and colonial administrator. He was born in 1725 and became well-known for his part in giving thegali disawar ka satte ka chart British authority over a sizable portion of India. Clive started his career as an exceptional military and administrative skillset member of the East India Company. Clive played a key role in the establishment of British dominion in India when he led British forces to victory in the Battle of Plassey in 1757.
