A standard 52-card deck is used to play the card game Rummy Gold, which usually has two to six players. With the cards in hand, the object is to create sets (three or four cards of the samfrenzy slots appe rank) and runs (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit). A predetermined number of cards are dealt to each player at the beginning of the game; the remaining cards form a draw pile. To start the discard pile, the top card from the draw pile is turned face up. One card is discarded from each player's hand after they each draw a card from the draw or discard pile.
