A fixed number of cards—typically seven or ten, depending on the variation being played—are dealt to each pldear play gold winayer. One card is turned face-up to begin the discard pile, & the remaining cards form a draw pile. Gamers have two options: they can select the top card from the discard pile or draw from the top of the draw pile.
